A chair is an ergonomics problem, not a sewing problem
Most seating factories buy a back, buy a mechanism, and bolt them together. We took the opposite route. The lumbar system — the part that decides whether someone still feels fine at 5pm — is developed and patented here, and it is why the UE Flow series tracks your spine through the recline instead of fighting it.

OEM & ODM
Your label on our line, or your drawing on our floor
OEM buyers hand us a finished spec and we match it, sample it, and run it under your brand. ODM buyers arrive with a market and a price and we develop the chair around them using our own mechanisms and moulds. Either is fine. The honest variable is lead time, and we'll tell you up front which path is faster for your order.

If your sourcing has been bruised by tariffs or sudden lead-time jumps, this is the part to read. UE runs production across five smart-manufacturing bases, with overseas plants in Romania (in production) and Vietnam (ramping up). For many buyers that means a route that sidesteps the China-origin duty without changing supplier.
